Founded by Joe Ordóñez in 1989, Rainbow Glacier Adventures is the umbrella under which Joe Ordóñez pursues his life-long passion for tourism, education, photography and adventures.

Small Groups - This allows for a more personalized experience and provides entry to small, out of the way venues. Places like the Hammer Museum, Haines Brewing Company, Dejon Delights, and Thirty Three Mile Restaurant would be overcrowded with large groups.

High Quality Local Guides - Our guides live in Haines year round and share their life experiences with the guests. Joe personally trains every guide that works for Rainbow Glacier Adventures. We are committed to our guides and are always looking for ways to help them with their professional development.

Small, Local Operation - Our guides are fresh and enthusiastic. Our company has the flexibility to work on special projects and custom tours. We are based in Haines and serve only the visitors who choose to come to Haines. We do not have an office in Skagway and do not handle huge groups of tourists.

Highest Standards of Customer Service - Joe Ordóñez traveled the state of Alaska and trained Princess Cruises shore based personnel in the basics of Customer Service. Rainbow Glacier Adventures is committed to a high quality experience and superior service for each guest.
