Raft Guide - Join Joe for his annual rafting trip
Joe began rafting in 1982 while in college and has seventeen years of experience using rafts to explore remote corners of Alaska and the Arctic. After 12 seasons guiding on the Tatshenshini and Alsek Rivers (see Author section), Joe began guiding in the Arctic in 1999.
For 2009 Joe has set up a wilderness rafting program in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for upscale clients with Abercrombie and Kent. Joe returns to the Tatshenshini River next summer with an exclusive charter trip. Joe is making plans for a future visit to Canada's Thompson River, where thousands of musk ox and a wide variety of Arctic wildlife are readily observed. Contact Joe for more details.
